About PEG-150 Dioleate

PEG-150 Dioleate is the polyethylene glycol diester of oleic acid.[1] The number 150 in the name indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units added. With the same base structure, changing this number can affect water miscibility as well as the viscosity and spreadability of the formulation. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
