About PEG-15 Soyamine
PEG-15 Soyamine is the polyethylene glycol amine of soy acid.[1] The number 15 in the name indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units added. With the same base structure, changing this number can affect water miscibility as well as the viscosity and spreadability of the formulation. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
