About PEG-15 Jojoba Acid
PEG-15 Jojoba Acid is a polyethylene glycol derivative of the acid obtained by saponifying jojoba oil, with an average ethoxylation value of 15.[1] The number 15 indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units. For the same base structure, changing this number can alter water compatibility and the formulation's viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
