About PEG-10 Tallate
PEG-10 Tallate is a polyethylene glycol ester of tall oil fatty acids.[1] The number 10 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; within the same base structure, changing this number may affect water miscibility and the formula’s viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly blended.[2]
