About PEG-10 Stearamide
PEG-10 Stearamide is a polyethylene glycol amide of stearic acid.[1] The number 10 in the name indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units added. With the same base structure, changing this number may affect water miscibility and the viscosity and spreadability of the formulation. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
