About PEG-10 Olive Glycerides

PEG-10 Olive Glycerides are polyethylene glycol derivatives of the mono- and diglycerides of olive oil and an average of 10 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] The number 10 indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units. With the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formulation’s viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
