About Palmamide Mea
Palmamide Mea is a mixture of ethanolamides of fatty acids obtained from palm oil.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, help keep the emulsion from separating, and increase the amount of foam and help it last longer.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to adjust the viscosity and flow of a formulation.[2]
