About Palm Kernel Glycerides

Palm Kernel Glycerides is a mixture of mono-, di-, and triglycerides obtained from oil palm oil.[1] The moisturized feel and spreadability of a finished product containing Palm Kernel Glycerides may vary depending on the concentration and the combination of moisturizing and emollient ingredients used with it. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
