P-Phenylenediamine HCl is an aromatic amine.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to color hair.[4] In Korea, it may be used at up to 3.3% only in oxidative hair dyes and may not be used in other products.[2] In Europe, it may be used only as a coloring ingredient in oxidative hair dyes.[3]
