About P-Methylaminophenol

P-Methylaminophenol is a substituted phenol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to color hair.[3] In Europe, it may be used only as a coloring ingredient in oxidative hair dyes. It must not be used with nitrosating agents, and nitrosamines must be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
