About Ozokerite

Ozokerite is a hydrocarbon wax derived from mineral or petroleum sources.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help ingredients in a formulation bind together to maintain its form, help prevent emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and reduce light transmission so the contents appear less visible. It is also used to adjust the viscosity and flow of a formulation.[2] [2]
