About Olivamidopropylamine Oxide

Olivamidopropylamine Oxide is a tertiary amine oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help wash away sebum and impurities with water, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, and reduce hair tangling and roughness for smoother grooming.[2] It is also used to help ingredients that do not dissolve well in water disperse more evenly in the water phase, and to lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and disperse evenly.[2]
