About Oleamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine
Oleamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine is a zwitterion (inner salt).[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, and increase the amount of foam while helping it resist collapsing. It is also used to reduce hair tangling and roughness for smoother grooming, leave the skin surface soft and smooth, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
