About Oatamidopropyl Dimethylamine
Oatamidopropyl Dimethylamine is an amidoamine.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and reduce tangling and rough feel to leave hair smooth and manageable.[2] It is also used to reduce surface tension so that raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
