About Nepeta Cataria Oil
Nepeta Cataria Oil is a volatile oil obtained from the aerial parts of catnip.[1] Volatile components obtained from the whole catnip plant contribute to the initial impression of the fragrance and the lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more lightly than ordinary vegetable oils. In cosmetics, it is used to prevent the characteristic odor or taste of a raw material from being overly noticeable and to add fragrance to a product or adjust the characteristic odor of a raw material.[2]
