About N-Oleyl Hydroxyhexanamide
N-Oleyl Hydroxyhexanamide is an organic compound containing a hydroxyl group.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, prevent such emulsions from separating easily, and reduce hair tangling and roughness for gentle conditioning.[2] It is also used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms in products and delay deterioration during storage, leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth, and lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
