About Myrtrimonium Bromide
Myrtrimonium Bromide is a quaternary ammonium salt.[1] Because Myrtrimonium Bromide has a structure containing parts that are attracted to water and oil, its cleansing power, foam, and sensory feel may vary depending on the concentration and the surfactants used with it. In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms in products and delay deterioration during storage.[3] In Europe, it is permitted as a preservative up to a maximum of 0.1%.[2]
