About Myristaminopropionic Acid

Myristaminopropionic Acid is a substituted propionic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, and increase the amount of foam and help keep it from collapsing easily.[2] It is also used to reduce hair tangling and roughness for smoother conditioning, and to lower surface tension so that raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
