About Myristamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine
Myristamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine is a zwitterionic compound (an inner salt).[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or cling together, help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, and increase the amount of foam while helping it remain stable. It is also used to reduce tangling and roughness in hair for a smoother finish, leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth, and control the viscosity and flow of the formulation.[2] [2]
