About Monascus/Angelica Keiskei Leaf/Soybean Ferment Filtrate
Monascus/Angelica Keiskei Leaf/Soybean Ferment Filtrate is an ingredient obtained by fermenting soybean and ashitaba leaves with the microorganism Monascus monascus, followed by filtration.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms, slow the rate at which formula ingredients oxidize in reaction with oxygen, and reduce tangling and roughness in hair for smoother conditioning.[2] It is also used to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
