About Momordica Cochinchinensis Seed Aril Oil

Momordica Cochinchinensis Seed Aril Oil is an oil obtained by pressing the aril of Momordica cochinchinensis seeds.[1] Because it is primarily composed of fatty components from the seed aril, it mixes better with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formulation ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen, reduce friction and add a smooth feel to the skin or hair, and leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to help protect the skin from external factors and reduce changes to the product and formulation ingredients caused by ultraviolet radiation.[2]
