About Mipa-Lauryl Sulfate
Mipa-Lauryl Sulfate is the monoisopropanolamine salt of lauryl sulfate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water and to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content in the finished product is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and the nitrosamine content must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
