About Mipa-Dodecylbenzenesulfonate
Mipa-Dodecylbenzenesulfonate is the mono-isopropanolamine salt of a substituted aromatic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water and to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content of finished products is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and nitrosamine content must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
