About Methoxychalcone
Methoxychalcone is an individual ingredient used in cosmetics.[1] The oxidative stability of a finished product containing methoxychalcone is affected not only by the concentration but also by the other ingredients used with it, the packaging method, and storage conditions involving exposure to light and air. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the rate at which formula ingredients oxidize through reaction with oxygen, lighten color in the hair or skin, and smooth and condition the skin's surface.[2]
