Meroxapol 254 is a polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene block polymer, where x, y, and z are 18, 34, and 18 on average, respectively.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help wash sebum and impurities away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
