Meroxapol 178 is a polyoxypropylene/polyoxyethylene block copolymer in which x, y, and z have average values of 12, 136, and 12, respectively.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
