About Meroxapol 174
Meroxapol 174 is a polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene block polymer, where x, y, and z are 12, 23, and 12 on average, respectively.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help wash sebum and impurities away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
