About Mea-Hydrolyzed Silk
MEA-Hydrolyzed Silk is the monoethanolamine salt of hydrolyzed silk.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce tangling and rough feel in hair and leave it feeling soft, and to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content of the finished product is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and the nitrosamine content must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
