About Magnesium Trisilicate

Magnesium Trisilicate is an inorganic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to physically remove deposits from the skin or tooth surface, absorb liquids such as moisture or oil in a formula, and help powder ingredients flow evenly without forming clumps.[2] It is also used to increase formula volume and adjust the amount of solids, reduce light transmission so the contents appear less visible, and control the formula’s viscosity and flow.[2]
