About Magnesium/Tea-Coco-Sulfate

Magnesium/Tea-Coco-Sulfate is a mixture of the magnesium salt and triethanolamine salt of sulfated coconut alcohol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[3] In Europe, it may be used at up to 2.5% in leave-on products; no separate maximum concentration is specified for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
