About Lysophosphatidylethanolamine

Lysophosphatidylethanolamine is a raw material obtained by hydrolyzing phosphatidylethanolamine with an acid, enzyme, or other hydrolysis method.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to smooth and soften the skin's surface.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content of finished products is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and the nitrosamine content must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
