About Lippia Alba Leaf/Stem Oil
Lippia Alba Leaf/Stem Oil is a volatile oil obtained from the leaves and stems of bush matgrass.[1] Volatile compounds obtained from bush matgrass leaves contribute to the initial impression of a fragrance and the lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more readily than ordinary vegetable oils. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen, keep the characteristic odor or taste of raw materials from becoming overly prominent, add fragrance to products or adjust the characteristic odor of raw materials.[3] In Korea, it is classified as an ingredient that cannot be used in cosmetics.[2]
