About Linseed Acid

Linseed Acid is a mixture of fatty acids obtained from flaxseed oil.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, reduce friction and add a smooth feel to the skin or hair, and create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
