About Linoleyl Gallate

Linoleyl Gallate is an ester in which portions derived from an acid and an alcohol are joined.[1] The oxidation stability of a finished product containing Linoleyl Gallate is affected not only by the formulation concentration but also by the ingredients used with it, the packaging, and storage conditions involving exposure to light and air. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reaction with oxygen.[1]
