About Lauroamphodipropionic Acid
Lauroamphodipropionic Acid is a compound containing acidic groups.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it resist collapsing, and reduce tangling and rough texture in hair for smoother conditioning.[1] It is also used to help ingredients that do not dissolve well in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1]
