About Lanolinamide DEA

Lanolinamide DEA is an individual ingredient used in cosmetics.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, help prevent emulsified water-and-oil mixtures from separating easily, lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly, and adjust the viscosity and flow of formulas.[1] In Europe, the secondary amine content of finished products is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and nitrosamine content must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2] [1]
