About Lanolin Acid

Lanolin Acid is a mixture of organic acids obtained by hydrolyzing lanolin.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, reduce friction and add a smooth feel to skin or hair, and create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
