Kluyveromyces/Lactobacillus/Walnut Seed Ferment Oil Filtrate is a filtered ingredient obtained from oil pressed from walnut seeds fermented with the microorganisms Kluyveromyces and Lactobacillus.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to slow the rate at which formula ingredients oxidize through reaction with oxygen, lighten color on hair or skin, and reduce tangling and rough feel in hair for smoother manageability.[2] It is also used to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth and to help protect the skin from external factors.[2]
