About Jasminum Officinale Oil
Jasminum Officinale Oil is a volatile oil obtained from common jasmine.[1] The volatile components obtained from common jasmine contribute to the first impression of the fragrance and the lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more readily than ordinary vegetable oils. In cosmetics, it is used to prevent the characteristic odor or taste of a raw material from becoming too prominent, to help maintain skin moisture and reduce a dry feel, and to add fragrance to a product or adjust the characteristic odor of an ingredient.[2] It is also used to leave the skin surface soft and smooth and to care for the skin comfortably.[2]
