About Isosteareth-15

Isosteareth-15 is the polyethylene glycol ether of isostearyl alcohol.[1] Its properties and feel in the finished product may vary depending on the formulation concentration, the ingredients used with it, the formulation's acidity, and manufacturing conditions. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
