About Isostearamidopropyl Morpholine Oxide
Isostearamidopropyl Morpholine Oxide is an aliphatic amine oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities be rinsed away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it last longer, and reduce tangling and roughness so hair feels smoother.[2] It is also used to help ingredients that do not dissolve readily in water disperse more evenly in the water phase, and to lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
