About Isostearamide Mea

Isostearamide MEA is a mixture of ethanolamides of isostearic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static that causes hair strands to lift or cling to one another, increase the amount of foam and help it last longer, and lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] It is also used to adjust a formulation’s viscosity and flow properties.[2]
