About Isopropylamine Dodecylbenzenesulfonate
Isopropylamine Dodecylbenzenesulfonate is the isopropylamine salt of dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help wash away sebum and impurities with water and to lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content of the finished product is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and the nitrosamine content must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
