About Isopropyl Ester Of Pvm/Ma Copolymer
Isopropyl Ester Of Pvm/Ma Copolymer is a polymer consisting of partial isopropyl esters of a polycarboxylic resin formed from vinyl methyl ether and maleic anhydride.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help ingredients in the formulation bind together and maintain its form, and help prevent emulsified water-and-oil systems from separating.[2] It is also used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, and nails after application and to hold the desired hairstyle in place.[2]
