About Isoeugenol
Isoeugenol is a substituted phenol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to add flavor and aroma to lip or oral-care products, and to add fragrance to products or adjust the inherent odor of raw materials.[3] In Europe, no separate maximum concentration is set for oral-care products among finished cosmetics, while it may be used at up to 0.02% in other products.[2]
