About Isoceteareth-8 Stearate

Isoceteareth-8 Stearate is an ester of ethoxylated, branched-chain cetaryl alcohol containing an average of 8 moles of ethylene oxide and stearic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
