Imidazolidinyl Urea is a substituted heterocyclic urea.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit microbial growth in products and slow deterioration during storage.[4] In Korea, it may be used at up to 0.6% in finished cosmetic products.[2] In Europe, up to 0.6% is permitted when used as a preservative.[3]
