About Hydroxysuccinimidyl C10-40 Isoalkyl Acidate
Hydroxysuccinimidyl C10-40 Isoalkyl Acidate is an ester formed by combining portions derived from an acid and an alcohol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and reduce tangling and roughness to leave hair smooth.[1] It is also used in products that create waves or straighten hair to help change its shape, and to lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1]
