Hydroxyethyl-2-Nitro-P-Toluidine is an organic compound containing hydroxyl groups.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to color hair.[1] In Europe, it may be used only as a coloring ingredient in oxidative hair dyes. It also must not be used with nitrosating agents, and nitrosamines must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
