About Hydrogenated Tallowamine Oxide
Hydrogenated Tallowamine Oxide is a quaternary amine oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static that makes hair strands lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities wash away with water, and increase the amount of foam and help it resist collapsing.[2] It is also used to help water-insoluble ingredients disperse more evenly in the water phase, lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly, and adjust the viscosity and flow of a formula.[2]
